SPE Offshore Europe offers the ideal opportunity for customers to engage with suppliers face-to-face, and therefore attracts thousands of professionals in the upstream industry including engineers, technical specialists, industry leaders and experts.

With the oil and gas sectors being Tratos’ primary market, representing 50% of its turnover, Offshore Europe is the ideal platform from which to showcase Tratos’ extensive range of hydraulic, electro-hydraulic and electrical umbilical cabling for subsea oil and gas extraction and Oil&Gas BS6883 cables.

Tratos is a leading manufacturer of cable solutions supplied for demanding Oil, Gas and Marine applications, both off the shelf and to bespoke designs. The company enjoyed success last year when it won the contract to develop tailor-made fire-resistant medium and low voltage cables for Phase 1 of the Jasmine discovery in the UK, Central North Sea. Utilising its 40+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry, Tratos was selected as it was the only company able to fully meet ConocoPhillips’ rigorous spec. for this specialist cable.  The company was also recently commissioned to supply instrumentation and power cables for installation at Kashagan Oil Field, in Kazakhstan, where these products demonstrated an’ impressive ability to withstand the demanding environment.

These typically challenging environments call for exceptional durability from all equipment, especially cabling that may be permanently open to the elements or used alongside heavy duty, industrial equipment that could cause damage.  Consequently, all Tratos offshore cables have been tested extensively both in laboratory trials and actual installations and have proven to be exceptionally reliable.  They can be produced to a very wide range of standards including UK standard BS6883, Norwegian standard NEK 606 and Eni Italian standard.

As you would expect from one of the world’s leading cable manufactures, Tratos cables are produced using high grade component parts and include recyclable materials where possible.  High quality customer service is vital element of the Tratos offering, ensuring customer requirements are met regardless of country of origin.

Tratos sells cables to 52 countries worldwide and has facilities covering a total area of 50,000 square meters, where it produces all elements of its cables including conductors, insulating compounds, fibre optics and finished cables.
