Commenting upon the appointment Neil Ancell, Director of Tratos Ltd, said: “We believe the whole of the Tratos board should be responsible for setting the standard for effective health and safety management but at the same time one person needs to have complete focus, ownership and understanding of the issues involved. The position of Health & Safety Director is a pivotal role in any manufacturing company and here it will be an important building block as our business continues to grow globally.

Ing Elisabetta Bragagni Capaccini will ensure best practices for health and safety are stringently upheld and cement its place throughout the organisation as well as at the board table. Ing Elisabetta Bragagni Capaccini said: “This is about ensuring gold-standard practices are implemented from the top down and I am looking forward to applying my health and safety training and experience more widely throughout the company

The Tratos Academy, set up last year, provides a unique opportunity for the company to educate, train and develop skills and capabilities over the long term and reflects our commitment to people’s development and performance

As a member of the Bragagni Capaccini family there is always a desire to go that little bit further in delivering business expectations and this new role will enable the business to grow safely.

This is Tratos’ 50th year, and while we reflect upon what we have achieved we are continually looking at how we can improve and move our business forward,” continued Ing Elisabetta Bragagni Capaccini.
