Tratos has supplied cables for use in AMP systems to minimize emissions from ships in port, as well as cables for alternative energy, including TratosEolo for wind farms throughout Europe, and TratosIcarus for Solar installations. Tratos has also developed cables with increased pulling tension, allowing easier electrification of diesel RTG cranes.

Tratos Cavi Iberica S.L. was created in January 2008 by a strategic decision of the President of the Group, Albano Bragagni. Previously Tratos had operated in Spain via local agents in the energy and flexible cable market, but never had the opportunity to stabilise a presence in the territory due to the lack of long-term contracts.

The new signs replace the faded old logos and are combined with an ongoing program of redecoration, helping the factory to stand out as an innovating centre of excellence. Modular Wiring Systems, a subsidiary of electrical cable manufacturer Tratos Ltd, has designed, manufactured and supplied modular sub-circuit distribution systems for the new Drapers Gardens 14 storey office building in central London. Due for completion in Autumn 2009, Drapers Garden is a prime 270.000 sq ft city headquarter bulding of disctinctive architecture with full height glazing.
