However, what some might not be aware of is our full Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) service with comprehensive after sales support provision. This ‘added value’ service is available to all our customers worldwide.

As an EPC company, we are able to carry out the detailed engineering design of a project, procure all the equipment and materials necessary, and then construct the application to deliver a functioning asset to clients, with a full after-sales support service following its completion. This service has been developed over the past few years and has already seen great success in the field.

One of our after sales service inspection took place earlier this year at the Busan Port terminal in Korea, the world’s fifth busiest container port and largest trans shipment port in North East Asia. Tratos had supplied Tratosflex-ESDB cable for use in 32 high speed cranes. Not only was this order the largest contract for Tratosflex-ESDB cable, but it is believed to be the biggest single order in the world to date for crane reeling cable. During the inspection, the Tratos team spent a week on site to control and inspect the crane’s operations – with great results. Both the team and the Port Operator reported complete satisfaction with the way the machines were functioning and the customer confirmed there had been absolutely no issues with the cables or the cranes since their construction in 2011.
